Taken from across the Housatonic River at the Housatonic Meadows State Park the FL9 excursion is able to make up some time on this stretch of track.The river was flowing quite rapidly at this time. Normally the water level is quite a bit lower and fly fishing, canoeing and kayaking is very popular in this area. This area is actually in the Cornwall Bridge district of Cornwall, Connecticut.(GPS N41.8238 W73.3731)
